Thanksgiving

I am very excited about Thanksgiving! Its one of my favorite Holidays for so many reasons! One of those being going HOME. If you know me, you know that I love Bath County. It has always been my home. I am so excited to get there this week! I can hardly stand it :)
This year my husband and I, and our cuties, will be having a lunch time thanksgiving with his family then, in the afternoon we will head up to Bath County to spend time with my family.
Where will you be for Thanksgiving this year?
Cameron and I were home a couple months ago and had a long walk around the farm, so of course I had to take my camera along. Here are a few images of my "home". Enjoy and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This one is my favorite, but I am not bias or anything ;)

Ready for Baby Sophia

Another exciting thing is that I am going to be an aunt! I am thrilled that my big sister, Brooke, will be having her first child.

I cannot wait to meet this little girl. We have talked about her so much and are anxiously awaiting the day that she arrives. My own two children are very excited to meet their new cousin. I know that they are going to love her.
Back in Oct. my sister and I had had a mini Maternity session at my house. I had a lot of fun playing around in the yard and taking pictures. The sun was really bright and it was a little more difficult for me to work around shadows. My sister did really well and I think that she had a lot of fun too.
Here are some images from her Maternity Shoot.

[This one is by far my favorite of this session. So sweet how she is already loved and she isn't even born]

Which image is your favorite?

First Post

So, since this is my first post, I guess I should explain why it is that I wanted to do this. I love photography and lately I have become somewhat obsessed with it. So here is where I want to tell you all about it, and of  course show you too! Please comment and let me know what you think!

A little about me.
I am currently an LPN for the local hospital in our area. I am in school for my RN (Registered Nurse). Although I love nursing, I also love photography! I have a wonderful husband and two children. We attend church at Aletheia Harrisonburg every Sunday. I give all my credit to Christ, because through Him all things are possible. My family and I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.

I absolutely love photographing everything! I love the unique moment you can capture with a photo!
I guess I should share a few photos, right? Although it was hard to decide, These are some of my favorite images I have captured this year (out of thousands)!
Check it out...

                                          Hehe! Thanks for reading! :))
